Residents Access

Since 2019 we have removed the ‘residents parking passes’ and installed an improved traffic management plan to improve the system for residents.

Road closures will be in place along the Harbour Head on Saturday and Sunday. Additional traffic control measures will be in place around the town and on approaches. The important thing to remember for businesses, staff and residents is that you will be access your property and workspace as per usual, although it is useful to carry some evidence to help our staff identify local residents and workers. The traffic control measures are in place are to prevent problems with visitors parking in residential and event areas.

Visitors – please use the event car parks and do not park in residential areas and back roads. This will allow the event to operate smoothly.

Residents please note that Withy Field Carpark will also be closed to the general public. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this, we ask that you use our event carparks for the duration of the festival.

Park and Ride services will operate from Penrose Carpark in Helston. And Methleigh Farm Carpark.
Penrose Carpark is free and the shuttle service costs £2 each way. You can walk in to the event from Helston through Penrose using the new foot path section which is an enjoyable walk.
