As the sun sets over the harbour, Porthleven Food Festival gets ready to boogie. Our much-loved Evening Sessions are back for 2026 – bringing three nights of live music, incredible atmosphere and festival energy to the Cornish coast.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Porthleven Harbour, the Evening Sessions combine big-stage sound with the buzz of the festival. Plus, street food from some of the South West’s best traders, fully stocked bars, and a crowd ready to soak up every moment.
Good Ol’ Fashioned Lover Boys
Kicking off the weekend in spectacular style, Good Ol’ Fashioned Lover Boys deliver a powerhouse tribute to Queen. With pitch-perfect vocals, flamboyant showmanship and all the iconic hits, this high-energy celebration will have the harbour singing along from start to finish.
Plus, support from the Forty Fours, a London-based three-piece guitar band delivering sharp, melodic songs rooted in classic British rock and powered by a raw-high-energy live show.
Joey The Lips
Saturday night brings the funk. Joey The Lips unleash their explosive 10-piece blend of soul, funk and pop, complete with big brass, huge vocals and unstoppable grooves. It’s a full-throttle party and the perfect way to close our headline weekend.
With support from Go Go Skank, a five-piece, horn fuelled dance band. Expect high energy interpretations of iconic 80’s synth pop classics – you’ll know the tunes, just not heard them quite like this before!
Open Mic with Spencer
On Sunday, we keep the music flowing with a relaxed and welcoming Open Mic hosted by Spencer. Free to attend and open to performers of all kinds, it’s a chance to discover local talent, enjoy a laid-back harbour atmosphere and round off the festival weekend in true Porthleven style.
Friday and Saturday sessions are ticketed and capacity is limited, so book early to secure your place. Sunday’s Open Mic is free to attend.
