Join us for a fantastic fundraising Feast to celebrate and remember Jane Kereama.

In 2019 we said goodbye to the Food Festival’s longest-serving committee-member and Chefs’ Theatre organiser Jane Kereama, who sadly passed away from cancer. Together with her chef husband Jude, Jane owned and ran both Kota and Kota Kai restaurants and the couple were a driving force behind the Festival right from the start – in fact, it was there idea to start the Festival back in 2007, stimulating the Porthleven economy and community, and bringing a very foodie focus to the village.

This year Jude has taken on the role of organising the Chefs’ Theatre and, in Jane’s memory, has created this fantastic Feast* utilising the talents of some of the top chefs on the Food Festival line-up.

Tickets, which will be available closer to the date, will cost £65 including a chef-cooked Feast and entry into the Friday evening music Shipyard Session featuring Jane and Jude’s favourite eighties party music.

All proceeds will go to the St Julia’s Hospice who provide specialist care for people with terminal illnesses.
