Pop up for a Yoga Dance flow with Yola.
Located in the Festival’s Literary tent on Food Festival Friday, Yola’s signature sequences will energize your body and mind, getting you weekend ready to kick back and enjoy the festival.
Synchronizing movement and breath, verbal and visual teaching cues will be provided as well as progressions and modifications for all abilities.
Come solo or with the family in tow for a single session or a double.

Yolanda is a Yoga Instructor, Performance Artist and Linguist who recently settled in St. Ives after visiting family in Cornwall since she was a little girl. The salty sea air, breathtaking panoramas and pace of life is harmonious with the healthy balanced lifestyle of a Yogi and creative practitioner. Originally from the Midlands, Yolanda went on to study Modern Languages at Cambridge University, choosing to spend her 3rd year in Havana, Cuba studying Folklore, Physical preparation and Ballet at La Catedra del Ballet Nacional de Cuba. Her love of culture, music and dance led her to further study in Contemporary Dance and The Body in Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatorie of Music and Dance, finishing with a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Practice (Dance). As Yoga with Yola, Yolanda brings a blend of her skills and experience of dance, fitness training and various yoga styles (Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha and Yin) to communities of locals and visitors in Cornwall. Her classes are inclusive with a multi-level approach to teaching through modifications and progressions in different poses and transitions. Her unique style is best described as a Yoga Dance Flow which includes a carefully choreographed dynamic sequence with creative visualizations and elements of mindulness. Yola brings you a challenge with compassionate corrections and reassurance to support your journey through yoga and beyond.
